Rock climbing at Neist Point, Skye
Another fantastic rock climbing day with Mike and Shirley. It's been 3 years since our last climb with Kintail Mountain Activities and the boys are now taller, stronger and up for a challenge. Neist Point was a beautiful location, with great pitches, which pushed the boys to their climbing limits. Mike and Shirley are brilliant instructors and great with the boys. Highly recommended!
Hopefully be less than 3 years before we're back

Wonderful Hill Walking
Our family would like to give our deepest thanks to both of you for such wonderful experiences hill walking. After determining what we wanted to get out of our hikes, Mike's planning made the days out challenging but a lot of fun. Mike and Shirley had a great way of sharing the area with us, selecting appropriate hikes, and giving us a lot of information about the area, flora and fauna. They were very easy to spend the days with. The level of expertise they have easily puts one at ease in a beautiful wilderness. I highly recommend them for experienced hikers as well as families wishing to spend a day (or three!) seeing the Highlands from up above!! Many thanks and we can't wait until we come again to hike with them!! Karen

The Five Sisters of Kintail
Many thanks Mike. Good communications prior to the day ensured everything was well planned and agreed in advance. You promoted a calm, measured approach and you were supportive throughout. Your good local knowledge enhanced the experience which was challenging, energising and a truly memorable 12.5 hours. Thankyou again. John

Guided Walking
I am relatively new to hill walking and had three days in total with Mike - one in Glen Coe and two in beautiful Kintail. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, patient and his passion for the hills really comes through. I liked that he was somehow able to make me challenge myself to achieve things I wouldn't have been able to do on my own, but without pushing me too hard and risking putting me off this new hobby. He is also very conscious about safety and this underpins all that he did with me - important as I have yet to build "hill confidence". The walks also included some instruction on navigation; this is a weak point for me and it was therefore an added bonus to have him cover it. Overall I am extremely happy that it was Mike's website that caught my eye and I will definitely be booking some more walks with him.
